At The Standard, families are always welcome.
Children of all ages are always welcome in our venue, making us a great spot for early dinners, relaxed family meals, and after-school or weekend catch-ups.
On special dates and events our atmosphere transitions into a more adult-focused bar and dining experience, and we kindly ask that this is respected to ensure all guests enjoy their time with us.
House Policy
To help maintain the relaxed, polished atmosphere at The Standard, we ask guests to dress appropriately for a smart-casual bar and dining setting.
Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service where attire or behaviour may impact the experience of other guests.
Reservations & Cancellations
To ensure we can deliver the best possible experience for all bookings, the following policy applies:
Parties of 5 or more require a £5 per person deposit to secure the reservation.
For Friday and Saturday evenings, card details are required for all online bookings.
While we always aim to be flexible, this helps protect us against no-shows and late cancellations.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to attend may result in a £10 per person charge.
Special Dates
On peak dates and other special events, a £10 per person deposit is required. This will be deducted from your final bill at the end of your visit.
